Dangerous or not? A Cytec Industries, an international chemical company based in Wallingford, Connecticut will pay a civil penalty of $155,000 and spend $150,000 for violating the federal Clean Air Act. I think this is so wrong because they are just doing this to save money the EPA detected a very dangerous gas that could hurt the ozone layer. This gas could have injured workers and civilians. I think that the punishment that they are getting is good because they probably would’t want to do this again.

The ESPN blog talks about a star wide receiver named Dez Bryant that plays for Oklahoma State University football getting suspended from the rest of the year because of giving false information to the NCAA. This affects many people that looked up to him and wanted to be like him because now they think his a bad person. He will probably lose his exceptional talent of caching the ball. This will affect the whole college world to because he was basically the only very good player on that team.

This month U.S. president won the 2009 Nobel Peace Prize for giving hope to the people worldwide, by being more involved in facing the world’s challenges today such as the control over nuclear weapons worldwide and making more people aware of our climate changes. In my opinion he does not deserve this award because he is just doing his job as a president. This award can help him by making him a better leader to take the United States further; I like how he reacted to this by just taking it as an award and concentrating on his real duties as a president. Finally I think that the president should just do what he has been doing because he is doing great.

In the Denver Post blog was about the boy who supposedly got stuck in a weather balloon and gets dragged around Colorado. The six year old boy who was in the balloon was not in the balloon and authorities thought that he must of fallen out during flight but later he was found in the attic of the garage in a box. Just this little flight caused so much commotion around Denver area such as they had to shut down all the flights going west from DIA (Denver International Airport). I was so worried for the child but when I found out that he was in a box in the garage I was angered because there was so much work that went into trying to find the balloon and there was no one in it wow. The latest news about this story is the police and investigators know that it was a hoax just to try to get the family there own TV show. Finally I think that the family is very sick and twisted by doing this just for publicity.

In the ESPN blog it talks about Rogger Federer the number one ranked tennis player in the world losing to an on ranked player named Juan Martin Del Potro in the United States open. This affects many tennis fans because Rogger Federer has the best in the world for very long time and he was on a big winning streak and this loss stopped it. I am a big Federer fan and I think that he should still be the number one player because he has the most grand slams in tennis history and at that time he was under lots of pressure. In my opinion I think that shouldn't’t be judged on one loss.

The blog by Gary Stager talked about the Barrak Obama speech given on school and how it effects ejection. In the speech it talked about what’s important to a high school life. He said grades and never giving up on school. When I read and watched this speech I got inspired to do well in school because the way Obama talks because he has such a powerful voice. I thought it was one of the best speeches I’ve read.
