What is up with the whether in Colorado i read an article in the Denver Post called warmer weather on the way by Kieran Nlicholson talking about how warm whether is coming. Reading this made me think why do we have such strange weather in Colorado. Me personally i do not like it because it could be eighty one day and fifty the next and i am more of a hot climate kind of guy. In the future i have to find out why we have such weird weather conditions in just Colorado because now i do not know.

The article that I read on the ESPN blog named Pitcher faces misdemeanor charges by the Associated Press talked abut the best or one of the best pitchers in the major league Tim Lincecum getting caught for marijuana position. The star pitcher has pulled over for speeding and the policeman search him and found marijuana in his pocket. This is just another example of how some big name players think that they can do whatever they are full of them selves. In my opinion i think that this is another bad example for the people that looked up to him why these people do bad stuff when there life is already set for them i do not know but i don't like it.

Is major league baseball fair because many people disagree and it shows by the statistics of wining in some teams than the other. one example is the New York Yankees how they make the game unfair is by having too much money so they can just buy the best players so they have the best team right now the Yankees probably have eight of the best players in the top 35 in the MLB.How they gain so much money i don't know but something needs to be done about it because one team is just going to dominate the lead and nobody wants to see that.

The article Bowls? whiten by the Associated Press talks about how if there should be playoffs in college football instead of bowls. Many people have talked about this argument such as the president many college football sports annalist. They all have said that there should be a playoff because having bowls never tells you which team is the best because all the good teams never play each other.I think that there should be bowls because it will improve the game in the college level because it shows which team is the best.

In the article that I read by Dan Rafael on the ESPN blog talks about Manny Pacquiao fighting Floyd Mayweather jr. these two boxers are the two best that there is in this era their records are (50-3-2, 38 KOs) and (40-0, 25 KOs).This relates to every big boxing fans because they have wanted to see this for a while. Also this could bring big publicity to the sport , because the sport is lousing fans and money which they need a lot in this economy.

In the article Breckenridge allows marijuana by the Associated Press talks about how in the town of Breckenridge, Colorado the town council is thinking of making marijuana legal to hold and to smoke it. The law was passed and it will start taking charge on January 1st I do not know how this law was passed but I think it’s just going to hurt the town more by making people not want to come because it will attract bad people to Breckenridge.

The article “Put forth our best writing selves” by Douglas Hesse, tells us that we write about to much junk topics, and we need to write about more Sirius topics so we can be better writers.

The article written by the Associated Press on the ESPN blog talks about a great baseball player named Bobby Abreu that plays for the Los Angeles Angels just getting a 19 million dollar contract to play for them. I think that it is ridiculous that these players are getting paid so much money. There are people out in this world that do not have anything in their lives; the baseball players make as much money in several games than they will ever in their lives. American government needs to figure out something to help the less fortunate people.

Dangerous or not? A Cytec Industries, an international chemical company based in Wallingford, Connecticut will pay a civil penalty of $155,000 and spend $150,000 for violating the federal Clean Air Act. I think this is so wrong because they are just doing this to save money the EPA detected a very dangerous gas that could hurt the ozone layer. This gas could have injured workers and civilians. I think that the punishment that they are getting is good because they probably would’t want to do this again.

The ESPN blog talks about a star wide receiver named Dez Bryant that plays for Oklahoma State University football getting suspended from the rest of the year because of giving false information to the NCAA. This affects many people that looked up to him and wanted to be like him because now they think his a bad person. He will probably lose his exceptional talent of caching the ball. This will affect the whole college world to because he was basically the only very good player on that team.

This month U.S. president won the 2009 Nobel Peace Prize for giving hope to the people worldwide, by being more involved in facing the world’s challenges today such as the control over nuclear weapons worldwide and making more people aware of our climate changes. In my opinion he does not deserve this award because he is just doing his job as a president. This award can help him by making him a better leader to take the United States further; I like how he reacted to this by just taking it as an award and concentrating on his real duties as a president. Finally I think that the president should just do what he has been doing because he is doing great.

In the Denver Post blog was about the boy who supposedly got stuck in a weather balloon and gets dragged around Colorado. The six year old boy who was in the balloon was not in the balloon and authorities thought that he must of fallen out during flight but later he was found in the attic of the garage in a box. Just this little flight caused so much commotion around Denver area such as they had to shut down all the flights going west from DIA (Denver International Airport). I was so worried for the child but when I found out that he was in a box in the garage I was angered because there was so much work that went into trying to find the balloon and there was no one in it wow. The latest news about this story is the police and investigators know that it was a hoax just to try to get the family there own TV show. Finally I think that the family is very sick and twisted by doing this just for publicity.

In the ESPN blog it talks about Rogger Federer the number one ranked tennis player in the world losing to an on ranked player named Juan Martin Del Potro in the United States open. This affects many tennis fans because Rogger Federer has the best in the world for very long time and he was on a big winning streak and this loss stopped it. I am a big Federer fan and I think that he should still be the number one player because he has the most grand slams in tennis history and at that time he was under lots of pressure. In my opinion I think that shouldn't’t be judged on one loss.

The blog by Gary Stager talked about the Barrak Obama speech given on school and how it effects ejection. In the speech it talked about what’s important to a high school life. He said grades and never giving up on school. When I read and watched this speech I got inspired to do well in school because the way Obama talks because he has such a powerful voice. I thought it was one of the best speeches I’ve read.

This activity that our class did with the girl’s class was about girls in colleges in 2006 and how women are better in grades. I thought the article that we read was biased to the men because the article said that women got better grades, that men don’t try and they're all bad at school. I think that’s wrong because not all men are like that. Men are mostly in sports and they have to have good grades to play. For example in Arapahoe High School you can't play any type of sport if you have a D.These are the reasons why I think people shouldn't assume about that men get bad grades in school, and I can’t stand it when people do this because I think it's wrong.

The video, "Did You Know?" by Karl Fisch made me realize what matters to the world, education, and me. One of the things that struck me the most was how advanced the United States is in technology and how far other countries are behind the US. Also, I was surprised that China is soon going to be the biggest English speaking nation in the world. I think that Arapahoe students are very lucky to have such a good staff and technology because anywhere else you go you don't get to use laptops in class. I think that is such a good resource because it keeps us updated in our world. I loved that video because it taught me so much about what's around us and its good to pass it on to other people.
